Good Times Diner is breakfast & lunch diner. Service was very good. Ambiance was very comfortable and welcoming. Servers made sure you didn't forget anything! I had an excellent western omelette, tomato slices( such as southern thing) to which I love) and rye toast, $7.95. Fairly priced. Highly recommend Good Times Diner whenever in Englewood, FL. Located next to Publix. Plenty of parking . They are open from 7am to 2pm.
Had eggs Bennedict with grits & bacon...pretty gooood. Also 3egg Enchilado was great.
If you like an Old School Diner, this is the place for you. Old to the point of being "kitschy". Colorful wait staff. Lunch was good. Prices are affordable. The ceiling fan located to close to a light, at booths in bar area, gave off a strobe affect and is a bit annoying, but I really enjoy the old Florida vibe.
Oh yeah! Real deal country kitchen. Nothing fancy at all but I felt like grandma cooked my breakfast herself! Our party ordered a variety and all were satisfied! I had a bacon, cheese, onion and mushroom omelet with tomato slices and toast. I throughly enjoyed my meal and washed it down with a cold glass of OJ! I ate some of my bf's home fries and I'm super jealous I didn't order my own! Lol Thanks for a great breakfast ladies!!
Dark and dreary interior but don't let that scare you away!! The food here is excellent! Exactly what you would hope for in a diner! The service is brisk-and can feel rushed! But all part of the diner experience here! Come in with a sense of adventure and you will be fine!
